When I get up in the morning I set my feet on the ground and stand - TopicsExpress

When I get up in the morning I set my feet on the ground and stand up without ever considering whether I could fall right through my floor. As I walk around campus, I know there is some uneven ground, yet I bounce around confidently without hesitation. During practice and workouts, I never stop running in fear that the court will give out, or that the track will crack open up and swallow me. I have so much faith in the ground. Whether Im lying comfortably in my bed that sits on the floor, or dancing around in my living room, I dont even consider that thing I count on most, even if its just to catch me when I fall, could actually fail. I put so much confidence into this temporary thing that will fade away one day... so how much more should I put my faith in God? How much more should I make sure that my spiritual foundation is made of His Word and promises? How much more should I walk in my calling without hesitation and doubt? How much more should I be confident that even if I mess up and fall, and that no matter how much it hurts, or sets me back, that He will catch me? God doesnt fail, He is eternal, loving, and He has already promised me the victory. So why doubt, second-guess, and question His will? Why not walk by faith? What is your faith grounded in?
