When I go to bed I put my glasses on a shelf next to the bed. Last night as I was messing with the blanket, I heard the sound of the glasses falling on the floor, presumably brushed off the shelf by the blanket. I thought, I should pick them up, or there is a danger that I will step on them when I get up. But I was too sleepy to get out of bed to do that. I made a mental note to be careful not to step on them when I got up. It was a bit of a risk, since I am the spaciest man in the universe. But when I woke up this morning, I REMEMBERED!!! I carefully got out of bed, very careful of setting my feet down, and groped around and found them and put them on. VICTORY WAS MINE!!!! I am SO COMPETENT!!!! I may never solve the problems of the world, but I REMEMBERED NOT TO STEP ON MY GLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
