When I got my new job at the new cinema I was repeatedly asked what happened to my OLD cinema that had brought me so far north so abruptly. I realize now I missed a huge opportunity to refuse to disclose the dreadful accident that brought me here. Then I would always say sinister and mysterious things that suggested I was responsible for whatever terrible fate that befell my old coworkers. Ah, yes, a fine crew they were. But necessity brings cruel conclusions. Those poor souls. Not a one of them suspected a thing. A desperate man is inclined to seek ways to solve his problems all at once.
