When I got to my gate, they had rebooked me on another flight leaving the NEXT DAY not because I was late or did anything wrong. BUT BECAUSE the ticketing person at the booth didnt know how to scan bar codes from my phone. I got on the flight ANYWAYS because the guy standing at the door said I had a ticket I was confirmed, checked in and I was there. So I could not be rebooked. Well, that was a relief until I actually boarded the aircraft and I thought everyone had decided not to shower the same day I sweated pineapples trying to get to philly. Turns out the AC had no power and American had to borrow equipment from USAirways to get the damn thing started. FINALLY at 6 oclock (an hour and a half late) we took off to Dallas. When I finally got there my flight to San Antonio was postponed due to weather. I just laughed and remembered the call from the airline saying there was a discrepancy with my records. At this point, nothing surprises me. Whenever you leave things up to someone or something other than yourself, you cant guarantee ANYTHING. If you have a good attitude tho you can guarantee yourself peace of mind.
