When I have children, my children are NOT celebrating Pagan Holidays. As a true follower of Christ (I am not religious, I am a strong follower of Christ, just like some of my family), 2014, Christmas & Easter ARE NOT celebrations for Christ. In 1989 they WERE. Though, Christ wasnt born on Christmas, & He wasnt crucified on Easter.... I will Install in my Childrens heads to celebrate his presence and crucifiction DAILY, not on 2 GREEDY days. I will not raise my kids to just wanna celebrate christmas for presents and Easter for candy & food. If the father of my child has a family that does though Im not saying we wont do family functions because I will never isolate my Children from there family intentionally.... I will even still buy my child gifts & baskets. But when I become a mom, I will ensure to remind them he REAL reasons of these seasons... Not societys
