When I hear women claiming proudly that we are not feminists, that feminism has gone too far or that feminism is outdated, I like to remind them that a hundred years ago women around the world were making similar assertions, while their more courageous sisters were being arrested for asking for voting rights. Its sad to see many of their granddaughters and grand-granddaughters taking these rights for granted and believing that the remaining inequalities are not really worth fighting for.
