When I left the news department for a few years, one of the truly fun experiences during my programming period was working on this kids show in the early 90s. In addition to airing on WTAE-TV, it also played at most of the other Hearst stations around the country, and eventually the childrens cable network, Nickelodeon, picked it up for a short run. We shot the studio portions on weekends, several shows at a time, and many of the children and grandchildren of the station employees appear in Franks audience. I might add that after weeks of constantly hearing those music videos during the shooting and editing process, they became so ingrained in my memory, that even today, Ill find myself humming many of those catchy songs at work...LOL! Glad to see its return.
