When I listen to this song, I close my eyes to visualize a dream. - TopicsExpress

When I listen to this song, I close my eyes to visualize a dream. I put war paint on, get a horse, say this mystical ancient Lakota chant that calls to all the Native American souls and of the living. We make teepees. Then I say to them, The land belongs to no one but the Great Creator. We may live on it to be considered as borrowing, but not own. Now, find your place where the Great Spirits presence is felt and live free. And all other peoples see what we are doing and decide they to should do this. They make their teepees and leave the cars behind. We crow crops and raise animals, only taking what we need. And as the years pass, the streams and rivers become clean again. Families stay close together. They see all of nature is sacred and made of the Great Creators living presence. Our tribe would head to Lake Waccamaw. We would live off of fish and alligator. ohhhhh. We would get more sleep. We would be closer to our families and work together as a tribe...men doing chores and the women have theirs. I know that may sound rough now, but I would give it all up to live as we once then of the land, honoring and living with God, working with tribe members and sharing great fellowship. I imagine, had Europeans not come to America, it would still be as it was pre-Columbus. For 13 years I have painted living with the Great Creator in nature. As my spiritual studies and quest deepens, so seems the art. You can say I am a man that practices what he preaches. Acaw! :)
