When I loop music live on the streets, some people get to see how all the ingredients is formulated together to create a full bodied song, then pedestrians just happen to walk by a song already composed and set in motion. Recording however has a specific set of rules to be regarded as a complete song. We have the intros, bridges & outros to consider. The main thing Ive noticed is my sound quality must be considerably higher. As a street performer I have extremely high quality in comparison to, well...anyone. I take pride in upgrading before anyone else, but in recording a cd I can hear minimal crackling and humming sounds in the background sound through my monitor headphones that you just cant hear on the street due to people chatter and traffic. I was fortunate enough to have brought a vocalist live 3 pedal a while back which had eliminated these bad sounds and also acted as somewhat of a pre-amp before my loop station send loops to the recording program. Just letting you know #impossible=challenge #curiositykilledthecrackling #mycracklingisthemeanest
