When I moved here in 2001, from a large city, I was shocked the city bus pick people up at their door and deliver them to the door of their destination! Today, I remain surprised. How many cities still do this? It would be nice to see people outside the city limits have options other than taxi to get into town. Has there ever been a discussion on maybe a twice a week transport twice a day to get into town and run errands? Just a thought..not sure how popular it would be but I do hear a lot of older people having to depend on others or spend almost $20 to get to town and back for meds, food, etc..
