When I opened Jakes email and read about his wifes story I couldnt help but to wipe the tears away from my cheek. I read his story about his wife and the heart ache and challenge she was facing raising their little boy while he was away fighting for our country. As females we sacrifice a lot, we step into uncharted territory that we are so unfamiliar with its terrifying at times, and we feel as if we are alone. To you Crystal, you have stepped on the other side and you have found beauty in your strength. Im sure you look back on that time in your life and realize how weak you really were. The strength we obtain is not just physical but its the mental aspect and how we view life and our day that we choose to wake up and live in 365 days a year. We are all faced with challenges and most of the greatest accomplishments are the ones that begin with a step in the dark and a step alone. Go as far as you can see and when you get there keep going!
