When I read APCs comment in ThisDAY during lunch a few minutes ago, all I could do was to shake my head in PITY for the party - I mean even the ZEALOTS that are sympathetic to their cause on Social Media and elsewhere would be ashamed of this and would have done a better job of trying to discredit these numbers - haba, how you can say The FGN was trying to use this to cover the poverty issue raised by the World Bank when this process had been on for more than 2 years; na 2 days APC think say dem take do this work? Then it gets worse, APC also forgets that this same World Bank that gave the reports on Poverty numbers [including 3 nations of the BRICS 5] along with the IMF applauded these numbers armed with the FACT that they recommend that every Nation rebases their GDP numbers every other 5 years meaning Nigeria had missed out on 4 cycles before now. Interestingly, the same APC that have always sponsored the LIES that “Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was sent by the vulture World Bank to wreck our economy have now all of a sudden turned to the bank as the angelic authority that must be quoted in mocking the nation that they always claim to love so much – truly, this is a JANJAWEED PARTY!
