When I read my sons answers to the ten albums challenge, I am reminded that the now professor of English used to be a music journalist and how I was MORE proud of his first article in Sky magazine (a British sort of Entertainment Weekly meets style magazine) than I was of my first article for ELLE that came out the same month. Hes answering one a day. No simple list-man he. Love it Byron R. Davies. Your descriptions make me want to run out and buy these albums - which is the essence (or should be) IMO of good music journalism.
