When I realize that Im trying to do it on my own, Im reminded of this hymn.... ’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word; Just to rest upon His promise, And to know, “Thus saith the Lord!” As much as I LOVE music, its not the ones with sweet harmonies or the best instrumentation that helps me through my circumstance. Its the hymns that Ive heard and learned from the baptist church I started at. After I remember to trust in Jesus, Im reminded of the power that his name and blood possess and I sing a little medley.... It reaches to the highest mountain, it flows to the lowest valley; the blood that gives me strength from day to day, it will never lose its power When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul. What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! Thats only a few.....
