When I saw Obama’s weekly address, something struck me as odd. It wasn’t the tired rhetoric, it was something in his eyes, his demeanor, his lack of conviction….when I read the comments posted below on Youtube I realized that many others had commented along these lines. So I thought I would use the wayback machine and compare this address to an address he made in 2009. He’s a different man, he’s a shadow of his former self. And although most Presidents leave office looking and sounding very different than when they arrived, this guy looks like a burnt husk. His eyes are empty and he appears to be going through the motions but doesn’t really feel any connection to the words that one of his staff slapped together for him. If you have the time, compare these two addresses and by all means read the comments other observers have posted….
