Kennedys perspective on this clip from the movie John Wick and this specific comment in the comment thread. I would have tagged you Jesse Murrieta but aye, were not friends. My bag. Heres a huge problem with this scene. I used to do martial arts and this is basically one long scene full of one-step demonstrations that we used to do. One guy comes at Keanu at a time, trying to stop him. In reality, bodyguards and security coordinate to take on threats, especially if theres an army of them in this club, as weve seen here. Collaterals scene is semi-realistic because Vincent strolls through the club, taking out security one by one, identifying them as he goes before they notice anything. Then when it goes down, he swiftly deals with the ones that confront him. Keanu goes through dozens of guys in this scene who act like theyve just arrived from another part of the building, which is crazy and unrealistic. There would have been a riot in this club after the first few guys were shot, who are they kidding? And didnt these guys have guns? They would have been trained to not engage this guy close-up like that. Any one else that works, or have worked club security and been in the midst of a chaotic explosion of the type depicted in the scene, please chime in. https://youtube/watch?v=VnPagmeLm-g
