When I see artists or vendors complaining that they didnt sell, I have a tip for ya: try to interact with the fans to get sales. Like I have always stated, I only go to cons for actors, but when I see an artist having a good time there, I go talk to them and end up spending money at their table, first because they are friendly and are having a great time, and second because I then pay attention to their art or merch and I like what I see. I got 3 commissions at Alamo City Comic Con (believe it or not thats like the most Ive gotten at a show lol), I bought the Sanitarium comics, and a guys HC graphic novel and indy comics. How? Simply, the artists were interacting. They would be like, Hey man, can I talk to you about my comic? or simply they looked like having a good damn time. I saw artists that were at their table just chilling, bored to death, with a fml face...how the hell do you expect to sell your stuff like that?
