When I see marathi films, Oh!! what a phenomenal rise it has witnessed in last 10 years. What is the reason behind this colossal rise of marathi cinema. When I say rise I dont essentially mean those vulgar 100 crore club hindi cinema has created, but I mean sensitivity, art, aesthetics, the very fabric of marathi culture which is woven, and imbibed with entertainment in its cinema and result here they are doing great in the international arena. The whole government machinery, private investors, builders, intellectuals are working every day to take marathi cinema to the world. But same time when I look back at my state, the languages are quashed, the sensitivity is gone, the cultural fabric is absent. Everybody seem to escaping. Here are some of the marathi films.
