When I started this Internet Thing and wanted to quit plumbing I had to confront a lot of s#!t really. When I handed in my notice my boss didnt speak to me for 3 weeks.. Im not joking either, totally ignored me until the day I left when I bought in an expensive bottle of port for him and boxes of beers for the boys. He said this was unexpected and I replied yes I told you 3 weeks ago Im not leaving on a bad note as the initial conversation didnt go down to well on his end resulting in the silent treatment! I talked to workmates and they said I was stupid. Although I would be preaching my dreams and talking about what I wanted to do and the places I wanted to see, they still said I was stupid and throwing in the towel on a good carrier. I had to sell a lot of stuff to make this happen too.. I worked some long nights trying to figure out how I can make this work, a lot of the time thinking maybe I should just give up. Thankfully all of my close friends supported me (and still do) although I got some funny looks when I tried to explain what I was doing haha.. I rely appreciate the ones who dig the fact Im chasing my dreams (you know who you are). But most of all without even having met them before, it was these guys who kept me moving forward.. People who I met online who shared the same dream. I never heard an I cant, You shouldnt, Dont, Or a what if from them. It became a matter of Lets, Do, or How Can We? When we finally came to meet & mastermind together In Miami & my mind exploded to whats possible. I think there was about 23 of us and It was like we had all known each other for years. Ya know the saying you become the average of the people you hang out with the most well I believe its damn true! I look back now and Im so stoked I went for it, making more money than I was plumbing and travelling the world.. If I had of listened to any of those people in the beginning I would probably still be plumbing and wishing I could find a way out! At the end of may we will be hanging out once again in New Orleans in a mansion (i think its one of the biggest houses in NOLA) to mastermind & step up our businesses..
