When I started to paint and play with color, I went back to what I knew. In middle school, I used to draw horses. Ive never had a horse, but loved their beauty, and I learned how they look and how to draw their shapes. Earlier this year, I went back to horses. I was able to play with color using a subject that I was familiar with. It also brought back old memories and I listened to 80s music as I painted. It was sort of my art rebirth in a funny way.
