When I started working on this project about a year ago... I was about 3 months postpartum. I wanted to ramp up my training, but wasnt quite ready for full on TACFIT. I also wanted to make my training specific for what I loved to do most, which was (and is) yoga. So I set out to make 12 workouts that I could use for myself and eventually my clients that would resemble a blend of TACFIT and Clubbell Yoga. What came out was Primal 12. A comprehensive program that has twelve workouts with 12 weighted and unweighted yoga flows that compliment the sport specific skill trained in the workouts. Alaina Sawaya, also a mama and certified Clubbell Yoga Instructor, was a perfect fit for this project. With her functional movement training and coaching background, I couldnt have asked for a more professional ambassador. I created all of the workouts, and then she and I tested them on ourselves. We soon learned that we actually needed to make some regressions for the exercises, because the average person would benefit greatly from being able to break these moves down. There are more than 60 video files in this program that walk you through the workouts and yoga flows. The sheer volume of content in this program is remarkable, and it took us about a year to finalize all of the training documents that accompany it. I can confidently say that it is the most complete yoga and athletic training product on the market, and the first one that combines HIIT and yoga in one session. I would like to express sincere gratitude to everyone involved in this project.
