When I think of that boy from the Southside meeting the girl from the Northside at Lincoln Highschool 20 years ago. Im reminded that Gods plans are different then our own. By some twist of fate I decided to walk through that checkstand at that precise moment in time. Funny thing is I was debating going into that store. Lol there you were! Engaged two weeks later and Married on this exact day. I find it funny that you meet your Love twice in your life and I even married him twice in one year! This was the song I sang at one of the ceremonies. The best way I can explain it is that love has to be a 1 Corinth ians 13 style of Love or it wont work. Weve had our ups our downs we fought forgave, made a choice to try and try again. Even though undeserving at times still we loved and were loved and are Loved. Love is sometimes a choice and a discipline not based upon feelings or emotion. I recognized this one true fact that Beside every Good man is a strong Woman A woman who is faithful with what she has even though its not always rainbows and butterflies like I was convinced it was going to be all the time lol. Mainly we must practice daily these principles of Love. We must remind ourselves at times of what we were doing for eachother in the beginning and always evaluate what we are doing in the now. That has been what seperates us from the statistics of most of our friends. Most importantly A God centered sort of Love held us together when it seemed to be falling apart.
