When I transferred to a new high school my sophomore year, I dealt - TopicsExpress

When I transferred to a new high school my sophomore year, I dealt with a lot of verbal bullying from many people in the start. I never really brought this up to anyone because it was really that painful and haunting. I was the new kid, so I didnt really click well with most of my classmates. I had already been dealing with personal problems so those actions didnt make anything better, at all. There were points during that time where I felt so low that I just didnt know what to do anymore with myself. It tears me apart to read that an astonishingly passionate 12 year old took his own life away because he wasnt accepted by his friends. A TWELVE YEAR OLD. The fact that this is an act of wrong behavior by our younger generation easily says that our society NEEDS to make a drastic change in order to thrive.. NO child should ever feel unaccepted by his classmates, especially for their talents and and drive in life. We need to understand that bullying is NOT okay.. and we must fully appreciate the friends who are always there for us and work together as a family. If im persistently there for you no matter what, its because I am driven by those close friends and family members of mine who didnt want me to give up when I thought I would. Those kind of people are so admiring because they know how to really care for others down to their heart and soul. This should drive you. It drives me so much, and I take so much pride in not being afraid to love everything. We all have moments where we may gossip about others out of frustration or just to fit into conversation, but in the end of the day; these habits must stop and we must inspire these children to the point where they will stay away from them as well. I am so incredibly saddened. Please, be the change for those who need it. A simple heart-filled conversation can change someones day. Theres no need to be mean to anyone who knows how to love. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2862375/Boy-12-kills-bullied-cheerleader.html StopBullying.Gov
