When I visited ground zero I felt very very sad. I wish it never happened. I wish the world could forgive the innocent muslims who had to bear the pain of being shamed because of the actions of some extremist muslims. I saw the tight lips of the other visitors as they saw me look at the scene..me being a muslim was obvious with the scarf around my hair....In my heart I felt as much sadness and grief as did the others. I wronged those who did this as much as the others...but I also carried the shame...because those who did this ...did it on our name. I am sorry that the people of America faced what they did a decade or more ago on 9/11...may the grieving families gain strength....and may muslims become a better people....who does not harm innocent lives.
