When I was 10 years old...me and my dad were down the local baseball field in Audubon NJ..where I grew up...He was hitting me ground balls...and pop ups...He eventually hit one over the fence by accident. ..my 10 year old eyes were amazed by how far he hit it.. .I said hey dad I bet you cant hit it in the street from there...it had to go over the fence...Over the basketball court..then into the street..pretty far..He said oh yeah...he proceeded to hit the ball over the fence...Over the basketball court...Over the street. ..and then breaking the Window of one of the nearby houses....we ran like hell.. .He said to me.. dont tell your mother...today is his birthday...happy birthday Lawrence Patello Sr. 11-11-26 - 4-12-94...I miss him every day
