When I was 17 years old I asked my father how to choose a career. This was our conversation: ME: How do you decide what you want to do for the rest of your life? DAD: Whatever you go to sleep and wake up thinking about each day is what you should do. ME: What if it isnt the best way to make money? DAD: You didnt ask about how to make money. You asked how to decide what to do with your life. ME: But you need to make money to survive. DAD: Do what you love and the money will follow. And if the money doesnt follow, who complains about spending their life doing what they love most? And so I became a photographer and filmmaker.
