When I was 33 or 34 I was told I had cancer. When the doctor tells - TopicsExpress

When I was 33 or 34 I was told I had cancer. When the doctor tells you that, you hear nothing else. At ther same time I started hearing about all sorts of nasty cancers and autoimmune diseases in my dads family and then the lung cancer, the lung cancer that non-smokers die from, of a direct relative. Well, I didnt have cancer, but did have a year of biopsies, blah blah. False positive. It crippled me for years because I could not stop thinking that I had cancer or what if I had had cancer and had really left here without medical insurance. The industry of testing is a cash cow that hasnt shown to be effective.
