When I was a Jr. Hi. student, my favorite teacher at the time gave us an assignment. We were to interview any living relatives about the major historical events of their life. I interviewed my grandma about the day Roosevelt died. I interviewed my grandfather about Pearl Harbor. I interviewed my Mom about the day Kennedy was shot and my Dad about the Cuban Missile Crisis. If my children ever repeat this assignment, Im sure they will interview me about where I was and what I was doing on Sept 11th, 2001. For people of my generation, this is the one day we all remember exactly what we were doing, where we were and how we found about about it.
