When I was a child I believed that when I grew up this thing called life would all make sense to me. Now that I am grown I realize that we are all merely children struggling for position and status as though they will somehow give validity to our existence. The games we played as children were really glimpses into reality. And the bullies have all grown up as well. (Winner takes all; Last man standing and all that) We remain forever visitors on foreign soil unable to speak a common language engaged in competition for an undefined concept of meritorious survival.
