When I was a kid,I believed in America. I believed our government was honest and strong,and did what was best for its citizens. I believed any man or woman could be President. I believed ours was the greatest nation on the planet and absolutely incapable of any illegal actions. Now at the age of 30,I have lost my faith in this government and its politicians. When I see the news,I dont see news. I dont see truth. I see mouthpieces for the Liberal media. I see talking heads pushing agendas and manipulating facts in order to distort and pervert the truth. Most people will even admit to the bias of the media and their lies. Yet they sneer at the alternative media,because its on the internet. Really? While I understand that anyone can put any crap on the internet,how many times must a website be right,before its taken seriously? As far as our politicians,where do I even start? With their forcing a healthcare system down our throat,even though no one wants it? How about their shutting down,over petty nonsense? What about their arming of Syrian rebels and Mexican cartels? How about their ties to big buisness and corporate bankers,that result in big payouts to them? What about their monitoring our phone calls and reading our emails? How about their federalizing law enforcement and using martial law in California and Boston? What about their ties to Mansanto and their flooding of American stores with genetically modified foods,that have been tied to cancers and debilitating diseases? Their use of drones on innocent people all over the globe? What about the rights they have taken,without a reason? At what point do we say enough is enough,and stop listening to these people? What will be the final straw for you? My naive view of our government is long gone,but my faith in its people is as strong as ever. Because we are Americans. We are the huddled masses,the tired and the poor,the castoffs of the entire world. We are the unwanted children of a thousand nations. Rather than cry about it,we formed the most powerful nation in history. We took up arms,and defeated the stongest army on the planet in 1776 and again in 1812. Not bad for a bunch of wig wearing farmers with blackpowder deer rifles. Our ancestors were badass men and women,who knew when to stop taking shit,even if it meant going to war. So whats it gonna take to piss you off? Whats gonna be the thing that finally shows you that this government is not only corrupt,but is working against you? Will you even care,or will you just go along with the show?
