When I was a lot younger I had some dreams. I had a body I was - TopicsExpress

When I was a lot younger I had some dreams. I had a body I was happy with and I had Arnold Stationwagon up on the wall (from his big 3 movies). Then as I grew older the posters came down, I married and had kids and settled down. The dreams slowly waned and became memories. Then in a final blow, about 7-8 yrs ago, I contracted a serious bout of pneumonia after getting hit in the chest at work. A week stay in hospital and about 6 weeks off work later I was functional again but I wasnt the same. Id lost a large percentage of my muscle mass but kept my overall weight. I kept on with my sporadic approach to exercise. Some running here and some non structured weights there but the only consistent thing that would occur is that 1. I would tire out after reaching a plateau, which inevitably led to 2. getting discouraged and stopping for a few months and each time this happened the body was finding it harder and harder to bounce back. Enter 2013 - Physique Essentials and the MP Program - I was already getting some impressive results doing ICE and eating way better (following my wifes lead as she was doing nutrition) over about 2 months. Now we have entered our first 12 week MP FIRE program together - which we have just finished today! Now I cant put a value on what I have gained. The change in my own body is obvious I can see it! The way I feel in myself has totally changed. Where I would normally be feeling a plateau after such a strenuous program I feel ready to tear it up and go on! I have just dead lifted a tad over twice my body weight this morning - a milestone I was stoked to achieve. I can honestly say that I have NEVER felt better - not even when I was running up to 8km a day back in my 20s. I cannot recommend the Metabolic Precision - mp-body program enough to anyone. Its key tools of nutrition, resistance exercise and a great training environment are genuinely life changing. Trust me because I know! PS: The dream is back!
