When I was a teenager I remember Ps Brian preaching a message on Fat, Green and Full of Sap, it was about being planted, and life flourishing as we stay planted. Well, over a decade later, WELL OVER a decade later, I find myself married to the most beautiful, delightful girl Ive ever known, with 3 absolutely gorgeous girls of our own, and totally LTD. I think that its as true now as it was back then, (its bible, its not going to change EVER let alone in a few decades!). So on the eve of Vision Sunday, I get so excited about Pioneering again for the next 30years of Hillsong church, I get excited for us corporately, but also myself personally, another 30years of being planted, celebrating decades of marriage, maybe a grandfather, probably still getting along to youth camps! Who knows maybe they will be held in stadiums?! I strangely find myself feeling grateful for things that havent even happened yet. God is good!
