When I was a teenager I was a Rainbow Girl. My daughters are both members and Past Worthy Advisors (president). We have been involved in Rainbow with my girls since Hayley was 11 (so 8 years). Rainbow is a fun youth group for girls. It teaches them to speak in public, become strong young women, and to help others. Service is a big part of being a Rainbow girl. The group always raises money for a state project and they always end up donating between $70,000-$100,000. All monies raised by the girls in CA. They also have many fun events such as slumber parties, beach days, amusement parks, and many other events. The girls have 2 meetings a month where they are responsible for setting up the assembly room, and they discuss upcoming events.
