When I was a young girl in junior high I was asked to complete a civics assignment by picking a country in Asia to write about. I picked Viet Nam because I figured all the fighting was in Laos and this country would have nothing to report about. (I was lazy.) When I retired to my northern retreat I liked to read the local papers. I saw an announcement for a meeting that would explain to farmers about oil and gas leases. I wondered why there would be so much interest in oil and gas in the area. I then learned about fracking. I dont want to be involved. I want to be left alone to live a life of leisure. It doesnt take much to make me happy. Just give me a good meal, a good nights sleep, and time to use my mind thinking the thoughts I want to think. Thats all it takes to make me happy. But, pull the tail of this tiger, and I come out fighting.
