When I was about 15, the librarian at my comprehensive school, Mrs Dawn, was very tolerant about me bothering her with questions about the Sixties (I supposed I acted liked shed lived through the French Revolution or something). She loaned me-- from her own collection, not from our little library-- a copy of the Easy Rider soundtrack (on cassette tape) and a copy of Kerouacs On the Road. That influenced a lot of choices, a lot of reading, a lot of viewing. And I dont regret any of it. Thank you, Mrs Dawn, hip school librarian... (yes, I did return her tape, and book)... https://youtube/watch?v=QMy3AbpkYvw
