When I was coming out of a backslidden season, some years ago, I was lamenting to the Lord about two sins that I couldnt shake. I had mitigated them but I would still succumb from time to time and it was getting very discouraging. I was praying and lamenting to the Lord and He did respond to me very clearly. I will put it in words, but understand He spoke to me from another place. It came from within. When I say He spoke / responded to me, in this instance I mean He caused me to know. He said dont focus on your sins because in so doing you are exalting their power over mine. Occupy yourself with me. Set your activities and attention on me. Put the light in, (Prayer and the Word of God) and I will force out the darkness. In this experience, I see your word sister Bianca. Also at this time of God answering my pleas for the grace to repent, He made me know that, Even as when you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you, so also as you continue, Christ is with you. If Christ left the Eternal glory to come and die for you, how important do you think it is to Him not to lose what He purchased? By that same faith and grace, by that same Spirit with which you first believed, repented and responded to God in the beginning, you will also continue and finish this race. 1) (Rom 5:8 [AKJV/PCE]) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom 5:9 [AKJV/PCE]) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Rom 5:10 [AKJV/PCE]) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (Rom 5:11 [AKJV/PCE]) And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. > (Rom 8:29 [AKJV/PCE]) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Rom 8:30 [AKJV/PCE]) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Rom 8:31 [AKJV/PCE]) What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? (Rom 8:32 [AKJV/PCE]) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=979360888746616&set=a.364879250194786.106522.100000181422006&type=1&theater
