When I was deciding which sawmill I wanted to buy, I had to make some compromises. I went with a manual sawmill with no log handling functions. These photos show how I move, load and turn big logs. The difference in cost between the sawmill I bought and the one I wanted was about $15,000. For a few hundred dollars I can replace all the expensive parts required to load and turn logs. These photos arent in any particular order. Ive put a description with each photo to explain what Im doing in each photo.
