When I was diagnosed with anxiety, my counselor thought I was - TopicsExpress

When I was diagnosed with anxiety, my counselor thought I was crazy. Turns out that I am right. He asked me how I deal with situations that I am not in control of, or cannot get out of when I want to, and how do I deal with big crowds. My response was I freak out! I hate to be in situations that I feel are out of my control, and I hate dealing with crowds He said Why is that? I said Because you never know who is going to flip out and start shooting, or who is going to hit ya up side the head with a glass bottle, or start throwing bar stools. A stray bullet doesnt have a name on it. People are crazy. He laughed. He said it has been proven that only 1 in every 100 people has a violent temper, and violent tendencies. I responded with Which one is it? He then wrote a script for medication! Last nights events in Fremont was EXACTLY what I was talking about. I pray for all of the families of the victims, as well as the shooter and his/her family. It is sad to say it, but maybe this will open the eyes of those who are so nieve and say that it wont happen to them. It can happen to anyone.
