When I was first learning NLP, I had a recording walkman, that had an amazing Sony stereo microphone, with real-time amplification. So when I did trance-work during the 14-day Practitioner course I attended with Rex in 1997, I used my recording walkman to hear how my voice sounded to others while I was doing group NLP exercise drills. If youve never used this, or a PA system, or heard your voice on a tape (or digital recording), then you have no idea how others hear you -- and it can be a rude awakening. This is because when we speak, we hear our own voices resonating inside the bones of our skulls. Other people dont hear that deeper resonance if we dont learn to produce that externally. So many people sound more tinny or nasal to others than theyd expect. No one else around me had intentionally set up that feedback loop. So I developed high quality vocal tonality when I was learning NLP, and it was no accident that my first home-study recording I produced was on developing a better, more compelling voice (Finding Your Irresistible Voice) -- even in spite of my deviated septom that can make me sound a little nasal at times. Now, I find there is a product intentionally developed for this purpose. And while Ive never tried it, people I know and trust have given it a huge thumbs up. So I happily share with you this link -- because I know the value it can deliver to speakers, singers -- anyone who wants to ensure others hear them warmly and appreciate the sound of their voice. All of my Voice CD/MP3-set customers should get this! So should anyone who cares how they sound to others! hearfones (this is not an affiliate link; I dont earn anything if you buy).
