When I was growing up, my Dad was a professional jazz musician, so music was always in my home. He wanted me to choose an instrument and learn to play. I told him I wanted to learn to mix dance music, it didnt go down so well! Eventually, after much fluttering of eye lashes, generally behaving myself, many, many chores, and achieving my grades at school, I was given a set of Technics, a Newmark basic mixer and an amp for my 13th Birthday. I hardly left my room for the next 3 years! This was the first track I ever played on the decks, as I looked at them daunted and clueless as to how I would learn this new skill. Its only some groves cut out on a 12 inch piece of vinyl, but some things are more precious than gold and diamonds. This was the track, it shaped my music style, which I have retained to this day, uplifting, dynamic, euphoric....Enjoy! Westbam vs Red Jerry - Wizards of the Sonic(Matt Darey mix)
