When I was in Orlando, I had a handful of folks come up to me and quite literally tell me that they enjoy my reading of books aloud and have been following me. So at this cookout I attended today, I dipped off for a bit to record todays reading. When I got back, someone asked me Whats the purpose, whats the reason for your reading books aloud and recording them...I mean I dont get it? I said besides for my own selfish enjoyment; holding myself accountable to daily reading; and the fact that we truly absorb information when you not only read it but speak it AND hear the material.... I do it for the folks who are listening, as well as for the folks who WILL BE listening in the near future! Thats the purpose!!
