When I was in San Francisco going to acting school in 1982, I was on a street corner and someone had mentioned that Robin Williams was just up the block waiting for a bus. I quickly ran up the street and there he was standing at a bus stop! I slowly went up to him and started to talk to him. I asked him why he was taking the bus and he looked at me, smiled, and said it was a great place to observe people. That moment taught me a lot about acting and it taught me a lot about being a kind human...my heart hurts.
