When I was in school the only drills that I can remember us having was fire drills along with tornado drills. Ive always taught my kids to always take drills seriously and to listen very carefully. Yesterday was not a drill. Im so thankful that the administration and staff along with law enforcement got our children to safety. Last night and today things kinda sank in. Im mad!!!! Im mad that someone would put our kids thru that!!! Im mad because the world we live in now our kids have to have a bomb drill or whatever its called!!! Im mad bc he/she may never get caught!!! All I could think about was our kids!!! Katie seemed fine when she called me. She said everyone was safe and Alyssa was there. Then my mind went to Cade and Marley. They was suppose to be there to watch a play. Thank God they stopped the buses before Cade made it there. Yesterday morning my biggest concern was Cades school work and making sure everybody had a good Christmas. Now things have changed a little. I still worry about Cades school work but everyone having a good Christmas seems to have a different meaning now..... So thankful for a God that protects our children!!!!
