When I was little, my mom was becoming a Registered Nurse. She was always vocal about the Golden Hour (the magical 60 minutes that could mean life or death for someone), and when cars didnt get out of the way of rescue vehicles, including fire trucks, she passionately vented about how people would want others to get out of the way if it was their loved ones home or relative or friend. So to this day, I remember that every time an emergency vehicle has lights or sirens. And I assure you that my fire fighter, EMT/paramedic, police friends tell me that they STILL have challenges with the public yielding to them.
