When I was on the homeless list nearly 2 years ago, Caledonia - TopicsExpress

When I was on the homeless list nearly 2 years ago, Caledonia quickly offered me the flat I am in now but it was outwith my needs; with a young child it was not suitable being on the 3rd floor (when my application said no more than second floor), no lift and my parents cant visit as my mum is disabled and cant manage the stairs. I have had nothing but issues with the neighbours on the second and first floors. Made numberous complaints, filling out official complaint forms for them as the police were called out regularlly at weekends. A couple of months ago they moved in a known dealer in the area into the building and the police have paid him a visit and the housing investigated. Now I am unsure if my complaining paid of, being moved for safety but I was offered a new tenency close by to my current property, Im unsure what I am going to do as I dont really want to carry on living in a city centre with no garden. At least I would have a shower and Gas heating (which was promised 2 years ago to the property I am in and still nothing yet). Keep getting on at them and gaining legal advice it will pay off once the light to your tunnel but reading these stories are discusting how they are treating youI do have to say I havent had too much of an issue with getting issues within the flat sorted quickly.
