When I was thirteen years old, my parents moved us from Brooklyn. - TopicsExpress

When I was thirteen years old, my parents moved us from Brooklyn. And tomorrow, were headed back -- via the publication of the childrens book I dedicated to my Dad -- and to my son: I Am Jackie Robinson. Of all the ones weve done so far, this is the only one thats made me cry. Why? Because our sneaky artist Chris Eliopoulos snuck my dad into the crowd scene, so Pop could forever cheer on his hometown Brooklyn Dodgers. Mushy for sure. But so awesome. Oh, and since I love you, heres a sneak peek we havent shown anyone yet: bradmeltzer/book/i-am-jackie-robinson/ Anyway, Cori will send the big email tomorrow with where you can buy it, etc, etc. But Im a man of tradition, and for 18 years (yes, 18 years!), the one thing we always do first is simply say thank you for supporting us all by supporting these books. Sending you wishes for a healthy and beautiful new year.
