James aka Aphex Twin was always this mythical figure from the UK making incredible music using programs he self-wrote (unheard of to me back then) and utilizing found sounds/field recordings and manipulating them to make pure art sound art. He hasz a new album of music called SYRO being released soon which he leaked onto the dark web (genius move if you ask me, way ahead of the game as usual) recently. His first collection of new music in something like 12 years. The lamen might dismiss it as techno or house, but you have to realize what beauty his sounds are. Yes its primarily digital, but if you arent a fan of such music please, do yourself a favor and drop your pre-conceived notions about this genre and be moved by his pure artistic creativity.
