When I woke up this morning the first thing I felt was the pain. But then I thought about this song, This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. I immediately went to my phone to try to download this song and remembered that my favorite gospel artist Fred Hammond had a version of it. His version speaks to every part of my situation. Did the pain go away? No. As a matter of fact the pain today has been just as bad as the first day after my surgery. I just keep playing and listening and thinking about this song. Although today has truly been another rough one, it still is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I ask for your continued prayers for me, for my healing, and for my husband as we continue to endure this ginormous trial together. This is our Mount Everest; the journey through breast cancer. I love you all and continue to stay strong during your tests and trials. Dont forget to look up because thats where your Help comes from.
