When I worked at the Ward 3 Council Office as chief of staff, I - TopicsExpress

When I worked at the Ward 3 Council Office as chief of staff, I met a lot of cops. The vast majority were extremely professional. Then you get guys that give the rest of our officers a bad name by knocking over a small framed women with a cell phone in one hand and a cup of Starbucks in the other. And that was just one incident. More stories are coming out. Reminds me a lot of the overkill and outrageous handling of the TUSD meetings regarding MAS. There appears to be a pattern. Now, we could all go to the next Mayor & Council meeting this Tuesday and complain during Call to the Audience. We could ask the Chief to explain himself. The problem is that the Mayor & Council reduced their public meeting from happening every Tuesday to now only twice a month. So, no Call to the Audience opportunities are available this Tuesday. In addition, the Mayor & Council is eliminating Access Tucson, our community media center where the left and right can produce programming that can express their views and concerns about local politics, etc. Our local democracy is never really a big deal until times like these - when you really need it the most. https://youtube/watch?v=9B7Kv9R7b3A
