When Im alone for any stretch of time my thoughts always wander to my mom. And when Im alone driving through Port Arthur I cant help but think of the awful day Lana and I drove here to go through all of the funeral stuff. I thought I would never be able to think of those days without getting sick to my stomach. But the truth is, now I cant remember all of the painful details. It is all a blur. The one thing, though, that remains crystal clear is the love and support I felt from my closest friends and family. It was definitely a you find out who your friends are time in my life...and man am I appreciative.
